I have decided to put my Z up for sale because I just don't have the time for it anymore. I have had this car for almost 8 yrs. I auto crossed it regularly, did some drag racing, and a few burnout contests.
I bought this car in Massachusetts in the fall of 2003. It was stock and just had the floor boards and frame rails replaced. Bought the head brand new in 2004, and was just rebuilt last spring because a valve guide broke. Block has never been rebuilt. Timing was replaced in 2004 also.
Drive train:
Block is a 1981 280zx turbo
Head is a 1983 280zx turbo converted to solid lifters (rebuilt last spring)
Intake is custom made from a diesel Maxima
Turbo is a T3/T4 (new 2010)
Turbo XS RFL BOV
Aluminum radiator
944 intercooler
Transmission is a 1976 280z five gear
Rear differential is a 1984 300zx r200 with a custom front mount.
Gas tank has a sump on it
Walbro 255L fuel pump
Suspension:
MSA lowering springs 2", 10% stiffer than stock.
KYB struts
Wheels:
Voxx 15"
