I am look n to sale, she's very clean. I drove everyday until the water pump went out and my husband replaced. after it was replaced it acted as if the timing was off so he checked to make sure that wasnt the case and re set the timing and it still acted the same with lack of power, so we took in and had a diagnostics done on it and they gave a list of things to do which include: replace replace spark plugs ,wirers, rotor, cap, fuel filter, air filter which we replaced and it continued to have the issue so we park her. Now i have no place to store her and need to sale we have also replaced the starter/siinode,Boss altinater, brakes,and exhaust manafold gaskets.

Paint is very good, just need a polish The interior is good and nothing to do. The wood is not perfect but ok. Everything is working and no problem. No rust at all. Here is some information about 6.3 engine from Wikipedia.

1971 Mercedes-Benz 280SE 3.5 Convertible, medium red with light beige leather and soft top, Zebrano wood trim, factory AC, Becker Europa radio, floor-shift automatic, and power windows. 79,534 miles. Vin: 11102712002320. One of the last limited-production Mercedes convertibles, this 280SE was also one of only 1235 examples made 802 imported with the advanced alloy-block 3.5-liter V8. It has the latest 4-speed automatic and factory-installed Behr air conditioning. This one was restored for a Mercedes enthusiast by MB specialists Ultracar. The car was taken apart and rebuilt in, out, and underneath. The padded soft top was rebuilt, the original-pattern perforated leather and wilton carpets redone by skilled trimmers, and the chromed trim all re-plated to show standards. Suspension and body isolation rubbers were replaced to ensure the same riding and handling qualities as original. This quality of restoration costs over $120,000 to do, assuming one can find a sound, unrusty car to start with.
