1975 Cadillac De Ville Sedan The De Ville was originally a trim level and later a model of General Motors Cadillac marquee. The first car to bear the name was the 1949 Coupe de Ville, a prestige trim level of the Series 62 luxury coupe. The last model to be formally known as a De Ville was the 2005 Cadillac DeVille, a full-size sedan, the largest car in the Cadillac model range at the time. The next year, the DeVille was officially renamed DTS - an abbreviation standing for DeVille Touring Sedan, itself a trim level on earlier models. Styling changes for 1975 brought dual square headlight lenses flanked by rectangular cornering lights wrapped around the body. A new cross hatched grille also appeared. Sedan de Villes now featured slim triangular quarter windows that mimicked the coach windows that appeared on Coupe de Villes the previous year. New standard equipment included front fender lamp monitors, power door locks, high energy ignition, steel-belted radial tires.

AM-FM Cassette w/power ant. Cadillac wire wheel covers w/lock and key. Opera lamps. Climate control. All regular Cadillac options inc>power mirrors, seats, windows, reading lights, level control, 4-wheel disk brakes, cruise control, delay wipers, limited slip rear end, vanity mirrors and more. Even the green and amber lights in dash still work as you depress gas pedal. I drove this car 350 miles on one tank and got 19 MPG. I have many detailed pictures. Does not knock, tick, or smoke. Very quiet and smooth. It starts cold beautifully. More quiet inside than a leather car. I have more detailed pictures.

This 1973 Cadillac Coupe DeVille with 53,653 miles. Bright red body underscores with rear extensions distinguished the DeVille externally. There were also DeVille signatures on the rear roof pillar equipment specifications were comparable to 1972. The DeVille was actually a Calais with added trim, richer appointments, rear arm rest and standard power seats see the excellent condition of this classic Cadillac. Without question this is one of the finest original classic car I had. This car actually looks better in person than in the photos this Cadillac looks feels and even smells almost new The red paint exterior chrome and trim are incredible. The vinyl top and interior are near perfect. The undercarriage is extremely solid, clean and dry and still carries the original undercoating. Very Nicely equipped with the following features :

1977 Cadillac Coupe Deville American Classic
The d'Elegance package continued for Coupe de Ville in 1977. Three-sided, wrap-around tail lamps were a 1977 feature only (although they would re-appear in 1987). Coupe de Ville's popular Cabriolet option included a rear-half padded vinyl roof covering and opera lamps. Sales figures include 138,750 Coupe de Villes.
In addition to a redesigned grille, 1978 saw slim, vertical tail lamps inset into chrome bumper end caps with built-in side marker lamps (Cadillac would retain this vertical tail lamp inset design feature for many years, including de Ville through 1999, and Fleetwood through 1996). New for 1978, a Phaeton package was optional for de Ville. The Phaeton package featured a simulated convertible-top, special pin striping, wire wheel discs, and Phaeton name plates in place of the usual de Ville ornament on the rear fenders. Inside were leather upholstered seats and a leather-trimmed steering wheel.
